Louis Pasteur was a biologist and a chemist who solved many mysteries of diseases. He also helped create some of the first vaccines. He wasn't very bright throughout his first years of school, and wasn't good at chemistry in college either. However, he was able to survey data and link it to hypothesis, he was able to conduct very controlled experiments due to his patience, and he had the brilliance to find solutions to problems.

Louis Pasteur was born in 1822 and died in 1895. He was born on December 27th in Dole, a town in Eastern France. His parents were peasants. He did not do very well in school at an early age, but he preferred to fish instead. When he was fifteen, he went to Paris to study, but soon after got homesick and studied locally at a school called Besancon. A few years later, he went back to Paris but succeeded in taking the test the he originally went there to take.
